Designing the Travel experience for the Brex mobile applications
As the lead designer for Brex's Travel product, I was responsible for creating an intuitive and efficient travel booking experience for business customers. The project involved extensive research into user pain points and travel management workflows.
One of the key challenges was integrating complex travel policies and approval flows while maintaining a simple and straightforward booking process. We developed a system that automatically checks bookings against company policies and streamlines the approval process.
The final product includes features like automated expense reporting, policy compliance checks, and real-time travel updates. This has resulted in significant time savings for both travelers and finance teams, with a 40% reduction in time spent on travel-related administrative tasks.
